DIRECTOR OF TECHNOLOGY

At our head office in Hammerfest we are in demand of a resourceful Director of Technology. The candidate will to a great degree be in the position to influence the extent and the content of this position.

Responsibilities:

• In charge of rooting and developing further the technology within the organisation of the Mother Company
• Closely cooperation to Scottish and Norwegian research institutions and leading Scottish industry
• Lead and motivate the developers
• Responsible for the project economy
• Extensive travel activity must be expected in the beginning

Qualifications:

•   Graduate Engineer, preferably within electric power or engine
• Additional education within economics
• Experience preferably within one or several of the fields electric power, underwater technology or ships engines. Knowledge and/or experience connected to wind industry will be very relevant
• International industrial experience
• Very good English skills, both oral and in writing 
• Good financial understanding
• Good  oral and written presentation
